2023 Membership Spokesperson Brian Redman:
Dear Friend of Motorsport,
2023 marks the 25th anniversary of the International Motor Racing Research Center, a library and archive dedicated to the sport that we all treasure. As a member of the Drivers Council, I recognize and value the important work that the staff and volunteers of the IMRRC are undertaking to preserve this history, and the support needed to ensure its success.
I’ve spent a lifetime in motorsport as a competitor and now an event organizer. I have fond memories of racing at Watkins Glen, a fitting location for the IMRRC’s operations to reside. Importantly, the collections housed there reach far beyond the racing that took place in this historic Upstate New York village and encompass a vast amount of primary research material on racing worldwide. These unique, professionally-archived collections complement an extensive library, as well as rare photographs and films.
Of course, many of you know of the reputation of the IMRRC and have visited over the years. Now more than ever, the success of the IMRRC depends on the generosity of those who value this history and endorse its preservation for generations to come. Please join me in supporting this worthy endeavor.
