    Hurley Haywood, a name synonymous with endurance racing excellence

    Over the course of 13 attempts at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans between 1977 and 1994, Hurley cemented his legacy as one of the greatest sports car drivers of all time. With three overall victories and five podium finishes, all behind the wheel of a Porsche, his story is one of relentless determination, precision, and an uncanny ability to push both man and machine to their limits.

    From his debut in 1977 to his final start in 1994, Haywood was more than just a driver—he was a force to be reckoned with. Whether battling through the night at Circuit de la Sarthe or sharing the cockpit with icons like Jacky Ickx and Al Holbert, his impact on endurance racing is undeniable.

    We’ll break down his Le Mans career, the highs and lows, and what made Hurley Haywood a legend in the world of Le Mans and beyond.

    Andrea Robertson

    Andrea Robertson teamed with her late husband Dave, and Le Mans Legend David Murry to compete as a privateer in the 2011 24 Hours of LeMans, she is the 4th American woman to ever attempt the race, and the only one to podium in over 100 years of endurance racing at Circuit de La Sarthe.

Margie’s Le Mans career showcases her ability to tackle the demanding Circuit de la Sarthe, navigating its high-speed straights and challenging turns with precision. Her racing performances outside of Le Mans have earned her widespread respect within the racing community, highlighting her as a role model for aspiring drivers. Balancing technical expertise with endurance, Margie Smith-Haas’s legacy at Le Mans is one of perseverance, professionalism, and passion for the sport.
