VISIT THE CENTER
The Center is open year-round and welcomes visitors of all ages to explore the rich history of international motor racing through engaging, hands-on experiences. We urge visitors to pick up a book, take a spin on our IRacing simulator, browse racing’s past through interactive touchscreen display, view the race car on the showroom floor and watch “25 Years at Speed: The Watkins Glen Story with Brock Yates,” a behind-the-scenes look into the early history of racing on the streets of Watkins Glen and other local tracks. Whether you’re a lifelong motorsports enthusiast or visiting for the first time, The Center has something for all.

Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The IMRRC will observe federal holidays for 2026 as follows:

- Indigenous People’s Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
In addition, we are closed on Black Friday (November 29) and the week of Christmas through New Year’s Day (December 25 to January 1).
The Center will be open on the following Saturdays during race weekends, 10:00AM to 4:00PM:

- Sahlen‘s Six Hours of the Glen 6-26-26
- US Vintage Grand Prix 9-11-26
On-site researchers and Saturday visits are welcome by appointment.
