Each year the SAH receives a number of books and periodicals as part of the nomination process for the SAH Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot Award and the Carl Benz Award. After each SAH Annual Awards Banquet, those books and periodicals are deposited into the SAH Special Reference Collection at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum (ACDAM) in Auburn, Indiana.
Containing works of reference as well as items of special interest, the SAH Collection reflects the recent recording of automotive history and grows larger each year. The SAH Special Reference Collection is available for use by SAH and ACDAM members, as well as by museum visitors. The collection is accessible in the museum reading room, by appointment. To make an appointment, please contact the ACDAM Collections Manager.
