IMRRC Announces Cadillac Formula 1® Team as Platinum Sponsor of the 12th Annual Cameron R. Argetsinger Award Gala
WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (October 15, 2026) – The International Motor Racing Research Center (IMRRC) is proud to announce the Cadillac Formula 1® Team as a Platinum Sponsor of the 12th Annual Cameron R. Argetsinger Award Gala.
This year’s gala will honor Tommy Hilfiger, global fashion icon and longtime motorsports enthusiast, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the sport of motor racing. Today, Tommy Hilfiger is the Official Apparel Partner of the Cadillac Formula 1®️ Team, continuing the brand’s longstanding connection to the sport. The celebration will take place Thursday, October 15, 2026, at the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York.
The evening begins with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the award presentation at 7 p.m. The annual gala celebrates individuals whose contributions have left a lasting mark on motorsports while raising essential support for the IMRRC’s mission to preserve, archive, and share racing history for future generations.

Established in 2014, the Cameron R. Argetsinger Award Gala honors the legacy of Cameron R. Argetsinger, who helped usher in the modern era of American road racing by organizing the first post-World War II road race in Watkins Glen, New York, on October 2, 1948. Today, the gala brings together motorsports enthusiasts, industry leaders, and dedicated supporters to celebrate those shaping the sport’s legacy while helping ensure its stories endure.
Although this year’s gala is sold out, the celebration is still open to everyone through the IMRRC’s Online Silent Auction!
