WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (August 15, 2025) In connection with the 11th Annual Argetsinger Award Gala, presented by the International Motor Racing Research Center (IMRRC), we are pleased to announce the Silent Auction, a major fundraising effort supporting the event, is now live and open for bids.

The event will be held in advance of the SVRA 2025 Mission Foods Watkins Glen Speedtour, September 5-7, at Watkins Glen International, and the Watkins Glen Grand Prix Festival on September 5

The IMRRC, is a 501(c)(3), established in 1998, as a research and archival library focused on the history of all types of racing and all race tracks worldwide.

The gala, a flagship event for IMRRC annually, will honor Brian Redman with the Cameron R. Argetsinger Award for Outstanding Contributions to Motorsports.

The award memorializes Cameron R. Argetsinger, founder and organizer of the first races at Watkins Glen more than 70 years ago. It was established to honor a person who is recognized universally for having advanced and improved the sport, who brings prestige to motorsports and who demonstrates commitment to the future of racing.

Previous recipients have included Chip Ganassi, Roger Penske, Mario Andretti, Richard Petty, the France Family, Bobby Rahal, Lyn St. James, Mike Helton, Richard Childress and Zak Brown.
