IMRRC Seeking Head Archivist
The Center is home to one of the world’s largest archival collections of materials representing the history of motorsports and is committed to preserving and sharing the history of worldwide motor racing, all series and all venues. The archives include more than 700 disparate collections, books, periodicals, race programs, fine art and other diverse materials.
The primary responsibilities of the full-time position will be to administer the accessioning, processing and access of the Center’s archives, including manuscripts, photographs, drawings, film and memorabilia. The head archivist also will ensure proper cataloging, dissemination, use and storage conditions of the collections and will recommend and oversee conservation and preservation procedures.
