IMRRC at Glenora Pasta Night
From behind the wheel to behind the stove, two local race car drivers will help raise money for the International Motor Racing Research Center at the Thursday, Feb. 23, Pasta Night at Glenora Wine Cellars’ Veraisons Restaurant.
Vintage racer Rick Hughey and former dirt-track racerTony Vickio will join Duke Argetsinger, son of the late Cameron and Jean Argetsinger, and IMRRC Executive Director Tom Weidemann as the evening’s celebrity chefs.
Pasta Night is from 5-8:30 p.m. at the restaurant at 5435 Route 14, Dundee, north of Watkins Glen. A different non-profit organization is featured each Thursday night, January through April 27.
“We hope all of our friends within driving distance will join us at Veraisons. Support the Center, enjoy some great wines and find out who’s a better chef: Tony or Rick or Duke or me!,” Weidemann said, adding, “Come hungry!”
Diners are invited to create unlimited dishes of pasta from a selection of house-made sauces and added ingredients, all perfectly put together by the celebrity chefs. The price of $19.95 also covers salad and bread.
A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to the Racing Research Center. At the end of the Pasta Night series, the group that brought in the most pasta night patrons will be given a matching donation by Veraisons.
Reservations are strongly suggested by calling (800) 243-5513 or going online to glenora.com/reservations.
